Comic Con Africa is the ultimate stage for South African cosplayers who want to dress up and show up. Fans can enter exciting daily competitions to win prizes or compete in the international Cosplay Championships where the winner gets an expenses-paid trip to compete in the UK in 2027. In 2026 Comic Con Africa welcomes Christopher Judge (Kratos from God of War), Richard T Jones (Wade Grey from The Rookie), Alison Sealy-Smith (Storm from X-Men), and voice actors from Rick & Morty Ian Cardoni, Harry Belden, and Spencer Grammer (Rick, Morty, and Summer). Comic Con Africa 2026 will feature a range of jaw-dropping activations from some of the world’s most beloved global brands, adding layers of surprise and excitement to the con experience. The outdoor festival vibes at Comic Con Africa are immaculate. Try the World War Two LARPing re-enactment zone or go axe-throwing.
