KidsCon gaming – Comic Con Africa is the ultimate playground for young gamers! Kids can jump into free-to-play gaming zones and enjoy favourites like Minecraft, Fortnite and more, challenge their friends, discover new games and have fun in a safe, family-friendly environment. Whether they’re building, battling or exploring, there’s plenty of gaming action to keep young players entertained. Grab the controller, squad up and let the fun begin!
Parents and kids can find the KidsCon Main Stage in the dedicated KidsCon area in Hall 5. It’s going to be packed with exciting content for kids. There will be educational workshops on topics like character design and how to create engaging boardgames. Ilum Relix will host Padawan lightsabre skills workshops daily. Kids cosplay show-offs will have daily themes like Pokémon, while on stage there will be a variety of characters from kids’ shows, such as YouTube favourites Noodle and Bun, and everyone’s favourite plumbers Mario and Luigi. There will also be exclusive international appearances from the stars of well-known YouTube kids shows… parents should keep an eye on Comic Con Africa’s social pages to be the first to hear these exciting announcements.
Zuru Toys brings kids the opportunity to play with their super popular X-Shot foam dart blasters. Kids can practice their aiming skills in specially designed target practice corridors. Zuru’s colourful blasters use air tech to propel their foam darts towards target boards over 20 metres away.
