LUMIN is a Cape Town based artist collective made up of three illustrators: Masechaba “Chaba Ranks” Bekebeke, Esona “Forest Fairy Fufu” Makatesi, and Naledi “Noir Naledi” Bekebeke.
Together, they bring a diverse mix of styles and influences to their work. Chaba Ranks focuses on expressive, character-driven illustrations inspired by anime and original storytelling. Forest Fairy Fufu explores detailed, character inspired designs across a wide range of beloved anime, often through collectible pieces like bookmarks and prints. Noir Naledi draws from the world of gaming, creating artwork inspired by titles such as The Sims and Stardew Valley.
