Ilum Relix
is South Africa’s premier lightsaber building, collecting and training supplier. Fledging in 2024, it has been the talk of all wishing to walk the path of the Jedi – or Sith – of legend.
After extensive engagement with the local Star Wars cosplay community and fandom, friends Matt (Vicarious_Cosplay) and Kean (Geek_Rhaven) decided to bring the galaxy far far away a little closer to home by starting Ilum Relix. With a ‘for the fans, by the fans’ motto, they aim to offer unbeatable service, deep expertise and unforgettable experiences to fans from all over the galaxy.
Whether you are an avid collector or are just getting started, if you are looking for guided training in lightsaber-to-lightsaber combat, or simply need assistance in choosing the perfect lightsaber for your style and budget, Ilum has your back. Having developed a hybrid model for teaching the various forms of lightsaber practices, Matt will be hosting a ‘saber school’ free of charge each day of Comic Con Africa 2024 for all to enjoy.
