Steven John Ward is a South African actor, producer, and writer best known internationally for his breakout role as Mihawk in Netflix’s live-action adaptation of One Piece. His portrayal of the iconic swordsman introduced him to a global fanbase and solidified his presence in the world of genre television.
A graduate of the AFDA School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance in Cape Town, Steven has built a diverse career spanning television, film, and producing. He previously starred in the critically acclaimed South African series Inconceivable, and has appeared in a variety of international productions, showcasing his range across drama, action, and character-driven storytelling.
