Nitin completes 30 years in the Media, Entertainment and Brand Licensing industry this year. Starting his career as an Entertainment Journalist in 1996 in India, he worked with Fox Consumer Products (where he worked on brands like The Simpsons, Ice Age, Alvin & Chipmunks), Animation International India ( where he developed licensing programs for Doraemon, Shin Chan, Hello Kitty, WWE, DragonballZ, Pokémon, Sonic the Hedgehog, One Piece, etc.), the Al Faisaliah Group in Saudi Arabia (where he worked on Sony PlayStation & LEGO) before returning to Animation International now heading the India, Middle East & Africa operations.
In his career, he has worked with over 1000+ licensees across product lines, promotions & events and went on to build robust businesses across multiple IPs in the Indian subcontinent, Middle East & Africa.
He was awarded as the Licensing Leader of the Year 2018 by Licensing International and since then has used his vast expertise in brand licensing speaking at various industry forums & teaching Brand Licensing at Universities where he introduces students to this exciting world via a certificate course developed by Licensing International, the global body of licensing professional based in New York.
He is currently based in Dubai and is also a certified Logotherapist, where he coaches people from an existential point of view. As a mental health advocate, he recently authored his first book - Heartbeats: Every Heart Beats for a Purpose, which is available on Amazon worldwide."
