Marina Kojima, the voice and face behind MIRAISKIRT⁺, is packing her bags for Comic Con Africa 2026. Brought by JETRO. Presented by AAH. This is not a rumour, not a fan edit, not wishful thinking. This is happening.
And this isn't just any idol act. MIRAISKIRT⁺ is Kyoto's own, born in 2014 and built around the concepts of "Hannari" and "Pop," a project rooted in the elegance and cultural heritage of the city itself. They made their major-label debut in 2015 and have since taken the stage at TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL, @JAM EXPO, SUMMER SONIC OSAKA and more. They've collaborated with the Kyoto Prefectural Police and Kyoto Sanga F.C., and performed internationally across China, Taiwan, France and Kenya. This is a name with real weight behind it, and now she's coming here.

The final day brings the Anime After Hours activation to a close with the biggest payoff of the week: the Grand Prize Draw. Fans who've collected all four Cheering Gear pieces across the con go into the draw for Free Cosplayer Gear, announced live on stage. A farewell idol performance, closing trivia and YES/NO crowd games, and the final Anime After Hours Exclusive Auction round out four days of anime energy, giveaways, and exclusive collectibles at Comic Con Africa.
The moment fans have been waiting for. After a month-long online competition (August 18 – September 26), Anime After Hours reveals the winner of the Mascot Art Competition live on the Pop-Taku Stage. The winning artist walks away with the latest Huion tablet products (valued at over R15,000), plus a full year of Anime After Hours marketing exposure and official accreditation. The session opens with an idol performance and the third Fan Cheering Giveaway, and closes out with trivia and an exclusive collectible auction to keep the celebration going.
The Anime After Hours stage takeover continues with another idol set, rapid-fire anime trivia, and YES/NO crowd games testing fans' favorite anime and characters. Don't miss the second Fan Cheering Giveaway — grab Cheering Gear Piece 2 and get one step closer to qualifying for the Grand Prize Draw. The session wraps with another rare Anime After Hours Exclusive Auction drop, featuring officially licensed collectibles imported straight from Japan.
