Jessie T. Usher
was born on February 29, 1992-a leap year baby who leapt through school with academic excellence. From elementary to college, he consistently earned top honors, graduating high school as salutatorian and making the Dean's List in college while studying culinary arts. He was also inducted into the Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society for his achievements.
In 2003, Jessie's family relocated to Los Angeles, where he pursued his passion for acting. He began landing guest roles in hit television shows like "Without a Trace", "Numb3rs", "The Mentalist", "Criminal Minds", "Lincoln Heights", "Hannah Montana", and "Summer Camp". His breakout came in 2011 when he starred as Lyle Hugginson in Cartoon Network's "Level Up", which evolved into a successful series running for two seasons.
Since then, Jessie has built an impressive résumé across film and television. He plays A-Train in Amazon's
"The Boys", Sam Elijah in the Netflix streaming series "Pulse", Davon in AMC's "Tales of the Walking Dead" and Trevor in Paramount's "Smile". Other notable roles include John Shaft Jr. in Netflix's "Shaft", Dylan Hiller in "Independence Day: Resurgence", Tony in Apple TV's "The Banker", and Cam Calloway in STARZ's "Survivor's Remorse". Jessie continues to shine in film, TV, and voice acting.
