Comic Con is not limited to the show floor; there are exciting spin-offs that extend the experience beyond the main event. From exclusive after parties for your fandoms to immersive off-site experiences, there is a bunch of opportunities to indulge in the world of comics, movies, and pop culture.
So, even after you have attended the main convention, you can continue to dive into the excitement and enjoy the diverse offerings of Comic Con spin-offs.
The KidsCon Zone is the ideal space where kids can embrace their inner superhero through interactive areas, immersive experiences, character meet and greets, shopping for the coolest stuff.
The KidsCon Zone highlights the perfect family day out at Comic Con Africa and will leave little ones with memories that last forever.
Step into the zone on the con floor that highlights the perfect collaboration between urban culture and pop culture. With retailors and activations at the forefront of the zone – fans can also watch “Sketch Battles” where street artists are given limited time to fulfil a head-to-head brief, as well as “Custom Wars” where artists are tasked with customising sneakers that will be on display for the entire weekend.
Step into the world of Animation with CTIAF, co-located with Comic Con Cape Town. Learn more about the tools used to bring characters and ideas to life, how to get in to the industry, as well as masterclasses from top international animators and studios.
