Software Engineer
Francois is passionate about programming and loves to spend his free time tinkering with tech, making marvelous music, and gaming gleefully. He has been a software engineer at Entelect since 2024, working on some very cool projects. Francois was involved in setting up the community hackathon problem statement for Entelect Hackathons 2026, writing the code for the evaluator and running the hackathon in September.
Entelect Hackathons is where coders come to build, compete, and take on unique problems. In 2026 that ran from university cups to a workshop series and beyond - all leading to HackIT, our flagship one-day hackathon, where our community raced to cultivate the most diverse ecosystem on the alien planet Photospheria. Join Lijani and Francois for a fast, fun look at the season and the game behind it: help grow a garden live on stage, watch a hidden world bloom, and meet the champions who split a R70,000 prize pool. Then find out how you become part of Entelect Hackathons in 2027.
