Gentle Hunting started in 2022 as an artist’s expedition to reignite their interest in traditional media by revisiting a historical root of art: carving, etching, and hand-printing. Since then, Casey has sought to create only cool, nature-inspired pieces, drawing from their love for animals and the bush, and sourced ethical and environmentally-friendly materials where she can — and, most importantly, soothing her inner artist as she goes. She specialises in hand-carved linocut prints but also hand-binds and prints notebooks, greeting cards, tote bags, clothing, and crochets tapestries and the odd sweater. Regardless of the item, a human has touched the process.
