I’d say that I had a really difficult upbringing. I often felt alone, unwanted and alien. But anime, games and xianxia were like my guiding light. They weren’t just an escape from a disappointing reality, but a source of motivation & inspiration I could draw from.
They taught me important lessons like how I could tap into my inner strength and fight bravely no matter what. The heroes I watched and played as — they helped me strive towards a better version of myself.
QiQi’s is an homage to all of that. All of those fictional characters gave me strength and now I want to pass it on to you.
