Guile Sharp is a freelance French artist who has been drawing professionally since 2005 and whose style exudes a passion for comic books and the depiction of superheroes. His vocation for illustration reached him around the age of 10, where his first influences came from artists such as Ron Frenz who gave him a taste for drawing, as much as Ron Lim who pushed him to improve. He would later assiduously follow the work of Marc Silvestri, Jim Lee, Joe Bennett, and Olivier Coipel and Leinil Yu who have inspired him in recent years; he also cites Mike Mignola among his references. Working as a character designer in the video game industry, he participates in the creation of characters for Ubisoft, notably on the game Red Steel 2. He also illustrates some covers on French publications, as well as several series of Marvel trading cards and DC at Cryptozoic Entertainment, Rittenhouse and Upper Deck, and some pinups published in US comics. More recently, he also worked on a title titled Prince of Thémis for publisher Graffcomics while developing his own projects. Guile was also part of the French Bulldog Studio collective alongside Stéphane Roux and Rémi Dousset. He currently runs drawing/illustration/comics initiation workshops for children and adolescents in an establishment in the Paris region as part of the reform of school schedules.
