Charis Futcher is the artist behind Flotsam & Jetsam Studio, a one-woman-run small
business based in Cape Town. She studied Fine Art at Rhodes University, and graduated
with a master’s degree in Sculpture (2017).She aimed to create a creative brand that hosts
unique handmade objects, functional artwork, and traditional art. Over the years she has
honed numerous other creative skills, including digital art, design, painting, and
bookbinding.
Flotsam & Jetsam Studio produces a range of products including hand-bound journals, fan
art, stickers, digital art prints, tote bags, select apparel, small sculptures and other
handmade items, as well as art commission services.
