JESSICA ROTHE (June27) is a multi-hyphenate actress, writer and producer who is best known for starring in the horror comedy Happy Death Day, which opened No. 1 at the box office and went on to make $125 million worldwide. She returned to star in the sequel with director Christopher Landon again at the helm. Rothe received rave reviews across the board for her performances in the leading role.

Rothe has several projects that she has written and/or will executive produce that are set up around Hollywood. Up next is the action horror film Titan, which is currently in preproduction. On the heels of Happy Death Day, Rothe starred in the drama All My Life, inspired by the true story of Jenn Carter and her husband Solomon Chau.

She also played the title role in Valley Girl, a musical adaptation of the 1983 romantic comedy, and appeared alongside John Cusack, Rainn Wilson and Sasha Lane in Gillian Flynn’s Amazon series “Utopia.” Between 2020 and 201 Rothe executive produced and starred in two projects: the Max pilot “Delilah,” created by Sharon Horgan and Aisling Bea; and the indie series “Gaslight,” written and directed by Sundance darling Miles Joris-Peyrafitte.
