Here is a little bit more about myself, I am from South Africa, and that means locally I don't have much support seeing that gaming isn't taken serious here. But i love gaming, there is nothing more to it. When i game why not share my passion with the world and making people smile even better.

I have been a console gamer since the Sega system... you name it PS1, PS2, PS3,PS Vita, Xbox 360, PS4, PS4 PRO, and ultimately switched over to PC. Do i miss console yes, but will I ever budge away from PC I'm not so sure. Missed anything? Come ask me on stream. Hope to chat soon

OVERCOMING CONTENT CREATION CHALLENGES IN AFRICA

Content creation in Africa faces unique challenges that often go unaddressed at major streaming and new media conferences. This session at StreamerCon Africa 2023 will provide a platform for African content creators to discuss the obstacles they face and strategies for overcoming them. Topics will include limited access to reliable internet and high-end gear, building an audience amidst discoverability challenges, monetization limitations, and censorship/legal considerations. Experienced creators from across the continent will share their insights on producing engaging content with limited resources, building communities on and offline, putting Africa's diverse cultures on display, and ensuring content remains compliant and avoids pitfalls. The session will educate creators and companies seeking to invest in African talent on current realities while providing actionable tips for taking African content creation to the next level as technology and infrastructure continue to develop. There will be time for audience Q&A to dig deeper into the issues. Join us at Comic Con Africa 2023 as we map out practical solutions to content creation challenges in Africa.
