VILLAINS' DEN: PITCH YOUR FILM/TV IDEA

POP CULTURE STAGE

Aspiring writers, pitch your most creative idea for a new film, TV show, or other media concept to our supervillain judges! In this interactive game show, writers and audience members will present original pitches to a panel of celebrity "villains." Their villainous personas will provide edgy feedback as you pitch any genre of story. To get a head start, you can pre-submit your pitch to jordan@comicconafrica.co.za. Preference will be given to presubmitted pitches! To visualize narratives on the spot, an AI system will generate concept posters from pitches. If the villain judges love your idea, they may offer to mentor you on developing the full concept! We’ll also turn select pitches into 5-10 minute test footage videos. Whether your idea is comedy, drama, sci-fi or something unique, share your vision and get guidance from the panelists as they look for fresh, engaging stories told in bold new ways. This is your chance to brainstorm and get feedback on pitching original film/TV ideas from the supervillains themselves! Dare to impress them with creativity.
