Tlotlo Malakaila is a traditional and digital artist with an inclination towards an African aesthetic.
Inspired by african folklore and culture, as well as both asian and western storytelling, comic
books, and animation, Tlotlo blends these influences in an attempt to modernize African art in
his own way. His overriding ambition is to create visual arts of various mediums, a series of
comic books including his debut comic book, Daydreamer, animation and an art studio, with the
intent to have his stories adapted into television series and feature films
