Mr. Sydney Masina is the Director and Co-Founder of MovieFin, an innovative accounting platform that revolutionizes production accounting solutions for film and television production houses. In 2019, when Netflix International Originals commissioned its first-ever original drama series from Africa, Queen Sono, Sydney was appointed as the key production accountant. Since then, he has maintained a close working relationship with Netflix Africa, becoming their official partner for production finance training workshops across Sub-Saharan Africa since 2022.

After working with Pambili Media and Netflix International Originals on Silverton Siege for two years, Sydney was appointed Head of Business Affairs at Pambili Media. In this role, he is responsible for raising finance for in-house productions, deal structuring for co-productions, managing local and international tax incentive and rebate applications, and overseeing the legal and finance affairs of the business.

With over 12 years of experience as a production accountant, key production accountant, and financial controller, Sydney has worked on numerous local and international productions for prestigious studios such as Sony, the BBC, Netflix, Mnet, and ITV Studios Australia, to name a few.
