Sunel Combrinck is a High School teacher and mother of one. She launched her writing career in 2022 with the publication of Die Ontwaking van Winter-series, a young adult fantasy series. The series include 'n Beeldskone Nagmerrie, Hartklop and Noodlot and follows the faery world of Tír na hÓige, a boarding school for teenage fae located in the Drakensberg-area, and a group of friends who holds the entire faery dimension’s fate in their hands. These books will be sold at Comic Con SA, Johannesburg.
Combrinck also published two daily devotions in in the Listen up! assembly book for teachers book, a short story in the short story book, Sewe keer Sondig, as well as a romantic thriller, Sneller.
She is currently running her own writing school, VasgeINK-writing school, focusing on the development of young writers in South Africa.
