Pregan Pillay is a renowned South African esports/events photographer with over a decade of experience in capturing the dynamic world of competitive gaming and geek culture in South Africa. His work, which includes stunning visuals from major esports tournaments and behind-the-scenes glimpses of players as well as cosplayers, has been featured in top gaming publications and exhibitions.
The Comic Con Africa Championships of Cosplay is where the best cosplayers in the country compete to see who will be going to represent Africa at the Crown Championships of Cosplay at C2E2 against the best cosplayers from across the world. So far Comic Con Africa has sent four Champions all of which have placed in the top three! Kinpatsu came 2nd in 2019, Jinxie Cosplay came 1st in 2020 and 3rd in 2024, and Ludus Cosplay came 2nd in 2022!
