Matthew is a competitive cosplayer from the UK, having represented for his country twice consecutively. Most recently he won the crown world championships in Chicago, bringing the UK it's second ever win and becoming the first man to be crowned.
The Comic Con Africa Championships of Cosplay is where the best cosplayers in the country compete to see who will be going to represent Africa at the Crown Championships of Cosplay at C2E2 against the best cosplayers from across the world. So far Comic Con Africa has sent four Champions all of which have placed in the top three! Kinpatsu came 2nd in 2019, Jinxie Cosplay came 1st in 2020 and 3rd in 2024, and Ludus Cosplay came 2nd in 2022!
