MARK RAATS Born in South Africa in the late 1950’s Mark Raats is a retired 2D/3D animator who has worked as an illustrator primarily for Disney and Lucasfilm over a period of 30 years. He has created numerous official poster artworks for the Indiana Jones and Star Wars franchises and for his personal art collection, George Lucas has purchased many of the original paintings Raats has created for them. Raats also created two privately commissioned poster illustrations for MARVEL legend, Stan Lee. Mark Raats works from his studio in Perth, Western Australia and his most recent work includes concept design for Gareth Edwards’ film “The Creator”
