Kaseran Pillay is a versatile South African actor, comedian, and television personality known for his distinctive humour and engaging performances. With a career spanning over two decades, Kaseran has become a beloved figure in the local entertainment scene. He gained widespread recognition for his role in the comedy series Going Nowhere Slowly, which showcased his comedic timing and wit. Kaseran has since expanded his portfolio, starring in projects such as Mr Bones 2, Trackers and Kings of Mulberry Street: Let Love Reign, further solidifying his reputation as a dynamic performer. Alongside his acting, Kaseran continues to be a stand-up comedian and a sought-after host and MC. Kaseran plays the witty and unpredictable Cousin Bobby in Neelan & Kevin.

CHAOS, COMEDY, AND CRIME: THE WORLD OF NEELAN & KEVIN

Get ready for laughs and thrills as some of the cast and creators of the upcoming film Neelan & Kevin take to the stage. The film follows two brothers who accidentally lose their mother's precious Tupperware to drug dealers, setting off a wild adventure to get it back. Join actors Brendon Daniels (Neelan), Luversan Gerard (Kevin), Kaseran Pillay (their cousin Bobby with a shady past), and Reginald Hufkie (Ivan Holby, the gang member who ends up with their Tupperware) as they dive into the hilarious and chaotic world of the film. They will be joined by Jason Masters, the talented artist behind the film’s illustrated poster which was launched at Comic Con Cape Town. Hear from Luversan and Brendon about their roles as producers, and from Luversan, the writer, who crafted this madcap story during the pandemic based on a story by him and Brendon. This panel will give audiences a behind-the-scenes look at how the perfect mix of action, comedy, and crime came together to create Neelan & Kevin—a film that promises to be as heartwarming as it is hilarious when it launches on Evod in December.
