Owner - D Sees Comics
Once upon a time, young Dylan believed he was Batman. Perhaps it was due to being able to write "Batman" before his own name, which he later disappointingly discovered was only Dylan. Or maybe it was because his father, also named Bruce, was a world- class detective. #TrueStory Batman played on a loop in the background of his days, further fueling his passion, a passion for the world of superheroes and lightsabers that did not stop there. Coming of age, a revelation that "Arrow" was not a standalone Friday Action Night movie but the first chapter of an eight-year television run, fanned the flames of fandom. Enter "Man of Steel", the film took flight and so did his passion. The epic tale of Superman's origin resonated deeply with Dylan. Seeing Superman grapple with his dual heritage and Oliver Queen grapple with the schism of dual identities - made Dylan reflect on his own sense of self. He realized that we all carry our own dualities, person by day and comic enthusiast by night. Dylan's addiction, sorry love, for these fictional worlds only intensified. He steered into the skid, embraced his human-half and having to function as a member of society with his burning passion for these worlds. Reconciling his two halves into someone else, something else - D Sees Comics. Now a dedicated enthusiast, he keeps his finger on the pulse of all things geek culture and sometimes captures himself in a very Peter Parker photographs Spider-Man way, by sharing his passionate discussions and insights on YouTube with the greater fandom. A young, let's go with that, Dylan, continues to explore these worlds and the fantastic fans at the heart of them. Living amongst the rest of you fans, living himself into these worlds with you, always knowing how "super" this community is and that "This is the way!"
