Dr Tshepo P. Maaka is a qualified clinician with over 27 years' experience. She is a Wits alumna with post-graduate training in both anaesthesiology and public health management. She partnered with her daughter in forming Cabblow Studios 5 years ago. She has produced, to date, 9 short films. Among them is “3 Teaspoons of Sugar”, which has garnered 16 official film festival selections internationally including Annecy international Animation Festival, CARDIFF & Cape Town International Film Festival.
Dr T, together with Kabelo are combining their skills in medicine/business and animation to carve out a unique niche in the South African animation market.
