Business Owner, Market KOKORO
Danny's culinary journey began in his teenage years when his grandmother taught him the basics of cooking. What started as simple lessons soon blossomed into a profound passion for food. Danny doesn't just cook for himself; he cooks for others. His love for food and people is intertwined, and what truly drives him is sharing the joy of Asian cuisine with everyone he meets.
In 1995, after Danny's family moved to South Africa in 1991, they established Market Kokoro, a store that has since become synonymous with authentic Asian flavours and ingredients. Danny continues his family's legacy, bringing people together over delicious dishes and fostering a deeper appreciation for Asian culinary traditions.
